Aerin at In Search of Giants is hosting a writer’s challenge to foster inspiration and community. It's pretty low-pressure: 1000 words a month. At the end of the year, you'll have a total of 12,000 words, which is not even half a NaNo entry. Go here to sign up!

A momentous occasion...
I have decided to participate in a challenge. Not a reading challenge, but the Random Complexity Writing Challenge. I keep meaning to write more, so maybe this will help get me back into my better writing habits. And it's completely doable--1,000 words/month.

Good luck!
Hooray! Hooray! I'm so glad to hear you say this. And, you're right, 1000 words/month sounds very doable, at least from my perspective.
I like the idea because the time frame provides lots of time for reflection as you go. That was something I didn't have when I wrote 50,000 words in seven weeks in the fall. I am now revising it like mad to meet my deadline of Jan 31st. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone...
You can definitely do this! I can't wait to hear about your progress!
What a great idea for a writing challenge! I will have to check it out...good luck!
