Before Amy started posting the list of book blogs participating in her grand week-long event, my blog feed list was half this long. I can't really differentiate which blogs were pre- and which are post-, but I'm currently checking 188 blogs. I'm sorry to say, I may have to cull if I want to check them every day. Or maybe I'll just check the feeds twice a week.
Is anyone else in this boat?

Hey Muse...yeah I added like 50/100 more feeds this week...and it's been a little crazy but with my Google Reader I've managed to keep up with them and actually get through them everyday because I speedread and do a lot of skimming...if it's something that I'm interested in I star it for later and plan to read those this weekend when I have more time. I'm thinking that once BBAW winds down that there will not be as many posts...if there are then I will only be following folks who follow me as it will be too difficult to follow everyone.
I'm not in the same boat...yet. I've been quite busy this week, but once I start going through the list of all the participants, I'll be grabbing an oar, Jena!
I had more than 100 blogs on my reader before BBAW; I'm not sure what to do now! I think I'm going to have to cut back because I have no free time anymore!
As long as people stop posting every day or twice a day, then I'll be ok again..... :) Isn't it fun.
I am in this boat! I tend to skim through most feeds, and then pick and choose where I stop by to leave comments.
Oh yes, I have the same problem. I've discovered so many new (to me) blogs that I love, including yours.
Yup. I used to have a folder in my google reader that was called BOOKS, and I kept it under 100 blogs long. It grew this week, and I had to split it into FAVORITE BOOK BLOGS and BOOK BLOGS. That way I'm sure to read the posts from the bloggers I like/trust the most, and if I get behind I can just skim the posts from the other book blogs. :)
I need to do some serious organization of my google reader. I keep missing a lot of great posts.
