So you know how I mentioned that I'd be going to the library? Well, I bumped into my friend Jo (a librarian) near the YA section, and I told her what I was up to this Saturday--and within minutes, I was carrying this stack around the library:
For the record, my book stack for Dewey's Read-a-Thon now contains these books:
- Eon: Dragoneye Reborn by Alison Goodman
- Monster Blood Tattoo by D.M. Cornish
- An Episode of Sparrows by Rumer Godden
- Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson*
- The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor
- Sima's Undergarments for Women* by Ilana Stanger-Ross
- The Amulet of Samarkand (Book One of The Bartimaeus Trilogy) by Jonathan Stroud
- The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman (audiobook)
- Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman (I still have to find this one)
- Hamlet & Ophelia by John Marsden
- Wake by Lisa McMann
- The Heretic's Daughter by Kathleen Kent
*This one was in the new books rack, which I browse every time just before I leave the library.

I hope you have a lot of fun with the read-a-thon!
Wintergirls is great, but I would read it earlier on because of the heavy subject matter. I didn't particularly like Wake myself, but I seem to be in the minority on that one.
i had my hands on sima's undergarments for women' when i was at the library yesterday...but ended up passing on it for elizabeth berg's new book. let me know if you like it! :)
That looks like one fantastic pile! Have fun!!!
